NFL Week 5 results, live updates: Fernando Mendoza makes regular season debut, relieving Kirk Cousins in blowout against Patriots

We have another action-packed slate of NFL games for Week 5, although it’s missing two teams – the Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers, who are both on a bye.

The Los Angeles Chargers enter Week 5 in a bit of a pickle, still looking for their first win of the season but with a number of weapons on offense. Starting receiver Ladd McConkey (foot) is active but expected to play limited snaps, while teammate Quentin Johnston is out with a chest injury. Both of Los Angeles’ starting offensive tackles are also out for this contest, after Rashawn Slater was placed on IR and Joe Alt was ruled out with a neck injury. Can they overcome these injuries to get their first win against the Broncos?

The Cardinals will be without WR Marvin Harrison Jr. on Sunday, but not due to injury, having apparently informed him that he will remain out through Week 5 while they try to finalize a trade, moving up from the former No. 4 overall pick. The Texans have been reported to be a team involved in possible trade talks.
