To say that it has been a difficult year for Under the Mediterranean Bridge Gael Cameron is an understatement.
Season 11 of the show documented new mom caring for baby Kayden in Croatia while the boy’s father, Nathan Gallager, worked 18-hour days on a nearby superyacht, the Akira One.
After the season ended, the couple separated after an alleged domestic violence incident in December 2025 in which Gallagher was arrested for assault. (Bravo has since cut ties with him.)
While Gallagher was speaking in an interview with rolling stoneCameron has kept his own advice – until now.
On Friday, the former cast member took to Instagram to share some of his feelings about season 11 and the fallout that followed.
“You didn’t get to see much of my time in Croatia,” she began. “It wasn’t the easiest chapter of my life and there is still so much to say about that time. But I’d like to share some of the good that you didn’t get to see.”
She shared candid photos of Under the bridge S11 Head Stew Aesha Scott’s engagement party, which was partially shown in the finale. Also pictured are Captain Sandy Yawn and former Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier.
“I moved with a new baby and, honestly, I’m still in survival mode. But honestly? I think I’ve done pretty well.”
She also shared photos of her and Kayden.
“Leaving my support system at home was not planned, but I am grateful for the experience,” she continued. “Croatia has shown me the strength I have as a mother and as a woman; no matter what difficult circumstances, I will survive. And not only that, I will always find pockets of joy, because life is a beautiful thing and there is always light as long as you keep looking for it.”
