Selma Blair was arrested for allegedly punching a flight attendant and biting another during a recent Delta Airlines flight.
The actress allegedly attacked the workers after trying to open the plane’s door in mid-flight, according to TMZ.
Sources told the outlet that Blair attempted to open the plane’s door while the plane was in flight Sunday en route to John F. Kennedy International Airport, leading to an alleged confrontation with crew members.
Two flight attendants reported injuries and one was taken to hospital.
As for Blair, she was arrested and taken to the hospital for evaluation, where she remains as the FBI is currently investigating the incident.

The “Cruel Intentions” actress has, admittedly, bitten other public figures.
In her memoir, “Mean Baby: A Memoir of Growing Up,” published in 2022, Blair admits to biting Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Seth Mac Farlane.
The incident with Miller took place in 2006, when the two women first met at the Chateau Marmont.
“So, I grabbed his arm and bit it, playfully, like it was an apple,” she wrote. “Even while holding her forearm in my mouth, I was appalled at myself. I thought: What have I gotten myself into? Or her? This is horrible behavior.”
According to Blair, Miller made a joke out of the strange interaction and didn’t “shame” her for it.
His bite on MacFarlane also happened during their first meeting.
“I was starstruck,” she wrote. “What should I do in public situations where I admire someone, but feel like I’m not bringing anything to the party? I bit him on the hand. ‘Whoa!’ he shouted. “It really hurt.”
Her biting episode with Moss got worse when the model first laughed, prompting Blair to bite her finger again, harder.
“The second time, she didn’t laugh and exclaimed, ‘It really hurts!’ The Calvin Klein model then punched Blair on the back and grabbed the actress’ thumb “and bit it.”
As for why Blair felt the need to bite others, she writes that it is triggered by feeling “overwhelmed” in “social situations.”
His recent incident with Delta Airlines is also not the first time Blair – who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018 – has been kicked off a flight.
In June 2016, she caused a commotion aboard a flight to Los Angeles after allegedly mixing medication with alcohol.
At the time, she was traveling with her son Arthur Saint, then 4, and his father, Jason Bleick, when she was taken off the plane on a stretcher and rushed to a Los Angeles area hospital.
The “Dancing With the Stars” alum reflected on the “horrible and humiliating” experience of 2024.
“I was so dehydrated, dehydrated and hungover and I didn’t know I had neurological issues,” she told Us Weekly. “I didn’t understand anything,” she noted. “I had to grow up. »
