TNA Wrestling no longer works with Max Caster.
On Monday, the company issued a press release apologizing for Caster’s insensitive comments about Riyadh/Saudi Arabia during TNA Bound For Glory. The company also took responsibility for the incident before clarifying that Caster would no longer work for them.
From TNA (via False Finish):
“During Sunday’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, Max Caster made insensitive comments referencing the attacks in Riyadh that killed and injured numerous people. Making light of the violent attacks is wrong. This should never have appeared on the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize. We have removed the segment from rebroadcasts and from our social media channels and are taking action measures to ensure that something like this never happens again. Max Caster will not wrestle for TNA again.
This press release comes hours after Fightful Select reported that Riyadh’s response was not scripted or approved by TNA in advance. Fans can read our full report on the subject by clicking here.
Fightful will continue to update fans on the situation as it develops.
