The chairman of the Montana Democratic Party resigned his post Monday and became the latest Democrat to support an independent candidate over the party’s Senate candidate, Alani Bankhead.
Former president Shannon O’Brien wrote on MS NOW that there were “real questions” about Bankhead’s “commitment to protecting women’s right to choose, his support for workers, and his views on people living in poverty.”
