Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig got engaged after exes Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ private wedding ceremony

Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig announced their engagement after their respective exes, Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony last month.

Shue confirmed to People on Wednesday that he and Fiebig got engaged in the spring after three years of dating.

“I don’t know how it happened, but there is a happy ending,” the businessman said.

Shue, 59, explained that he “had to accept that my own role in marriage wasn’t working for me” and noted that he found “the right person” in Fiebig, 48, which he said “has been an extraordinary gift.”

“Again, I don’t know how it happened, but I can say I’m grateful,” he shared.

The Forum co-founder also admitted that although he “had to grow through a lot of pain, a lot of struggle and a lot of humility,” he discovered that “the magic of love is when you move from needing to giving.”

“You don’t know how to meet the right person,” he said. “It just happened. And you can say it’s just that kind of luck that that’s how you ended up getting to know this person in a way that would allow you to reveal yourself and them to reveal themselves.”

Shue said he and Fiebig fell in love with being able to “share each other in a time when we both needed a friend.”

Page Six has reached out to representatives for Robach and Holmes for comment.

In the ultimate plot twist, Shue and Fiebig began dating in 2023 after their exes reunited, Page Six exclusively reported at the time.

“It’s turned into something else, and they’re bonded by their values. It’s bigger than this case now,” a source told us.

Famously, Robach and Holmes’ months-long workplace romance was revealed in November 2022, while Robach was still married to Shue and Holmes to Fiebig, with whom he shares daughter Sabine, 13.

Following the explosive news, Holmes, 49, and Robach, 53, were ousted from “GMA3” in January 2023. A spokesperson for the network told Page Six at the time that it was “best for everyone” if they “moved on” after the scandal.

Last month, Page Six confirmed that the journalists exchanged vows in Arkansas during a private ceremony on September 19.

The wedding took place a day after they applied for their marriage license.

Robach and Holmes announced their engagement on their podcast “Amy & TJ” in October 2025.

Since their scandal, the two men have insisted that they did not cheat on their ex-partners.

“To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone thought we were outed as adulterers – as cheating on our spouses – and that wasn’t the case,” Holmes said on their podcast in December 2023.

Holmes further claimed that he and Robach “were going through divorce proceedings” with their exes when they got together.
