Apple began inviting select members of the media to a product launch experience in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 28, according to BloombergIt’s Mark Gurman.

In an article on
Gurman previously said Apple would demonstrate the devices “around Tuesday, October 27,” with an online video presentation and hands-on experience for media. Its latest message specifies October 28 for the media meeting, but does not specify whether product announcements will take place on that day or before.
The touchscreen MacBooks are expected to be redesigned 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, featuring OLED displays, a dynamic island, and significantly lighter designs. While earlier rumors suggested Apple might use the “MacBook Ultra” name, Gurman’s report from earlier this month suggested the devices would remain in the “MacBook Pro” family.
Alongside the redesigned high-end machines, Apple is expected to introduce M6 versions of the MacBook Pro and 14-inch iMac. The new iPad mini is expected to benefit from an OLED display, a front-facing camera positioned for video calls in landscape mode, and a redesigned speaker system.
