Is the real guy in the room finally back in WWE? PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingInc.com) has an update on Enzo Amore possibly making his long-awaited return to WWE.
According to PWInsider Elite’s report, Amore is believed to have signed a new contract to return to WWE last week. The outlet is reportedly still working to confirm his return to the company. The outlet also notes that a source believes Amore is close to returning to the NXT brand.
As previously reported, Amore was rumored to have “held discussions” with WWE earlier this year, and he is also rumored to be interested in a return. His former tag team partner Big Cass returned, joining the main Raw roster earlier this year. Many thought Amore and Cass might return to WWE together, but Cass appeared on Raw without Amore.
Additionally, Amore was reportedly seen at the Performance Center earlier in May, sparking speculation about a possible return. WWE has yet to announce Enzo Amore’s return to the company.
Cass currently plays a heel role on Raw and is aligned with Ethan Page. The duo defeated Dragon Lee and Chad Gable on Monday Night Raw last week.
