It would be game over for Bill Belichick and his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
The North Carolina Tar Heels head football coach, 74, and the beauty queen, 25, have apparently called it quits, with TMZ reporting they secretly split “late last year.”
The outlet’s source noted that while the two are no longer dating, they remain “committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends.”
No further details, including what caused their breakup or who ended the relationship, have been shared.
Despite ending things last year, Belichick and Hudson have maintained a united front, not letting their breakup make waves — until now.
Both men have appeared at events throughout the year, including the Kentucky Derby in May and UNC’s home football game in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, against Syracuse on October 24.
Page Six reached out to Belichick and Hudson for comment but did not receive a response.
Last month, Belichick denied the widespread rumor that Hudson was managing his football coaching career, calling the idea “ridiculous” in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
Those claims gained momentum when the former cheerleader was frequently spotted on the sidelines of her games and when Hudson shut down questions about the origins of their relationship.
The former New England Patriots head coach called the idea that Hudson was too involved in his coaching duties “just an outright lie,” noting, “There are certain things that she helps me plan or watch.”
While being interviewed by Tony Dokoupil for “CBS Sunday Morning” in April 2025, Hudson interrupted him when the reporter asked Belichick how their relationship began.
“We don’t talk about that,” she said bluntly off-camera.
In a voiceover, Dokoupil noted that Hudson was a “constant presence” throughout the interview.
In the same interview, when asked how he responded to criticism about their nearly 50-year age gap, Belichick responded, “I’ve never been too worried about what other people think.” »
He added: “Just try to do what I think is best for me and what’s right. »
After the interview, Belichick released a statement, saying he was “surprised when unrelated topics were introduced” that did not concern his book, “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,” which he was promoting at the time.
He said this “has happened multiple times” and that Hudson – with whom he has a “personal and professional relationship” – spoke up to “reiterate this point to help refocus the discussion”.
Belichick also alleged that the final edit featured “selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of the interview to suggest a false narrative – that Jordan was trying to control the conversation – which is simply not true.”
The legendary football coach and Hudson reportedly first met on a plane in 2021, before starting dating a few years later.
