Bill Maher broke his silence during his second White House dinner with President Donald Trump – and he repeatedly took aim at US President Donald Trump. In Real Time with Bill Maher in the process.

On the Friday, Oct. 23, episode of his late-night show, Maher, 70, began his opening monologue by pointing out a notable fact about the 80-year-old POTUS’ candidacy in the midterm elections.

“Trump has the lowest approval rating of any candidate in the midterms,” he said. “Only 1% of Republicans mention it in their ads. It’s gotten really bad. I mean, the billboards outside his rallies now just say ‘Lee Greenwood and Friends’.”

When Maher brought up Republican Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s controversial ad targeting his opponent Amy Acton — and Trump’s response to that ad — the president was also the butt of the joke.

“Trump said it’s fair game. A 12-year-old rape victim is fair game?” » said Maher. “I know it doesn’t look good. It sounds better on a birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein.”

Additionally, Maher discussed Trump’s increased frequency of comments about men’s physiques during his speeches.

“He did it last week. He was campaigning for a guy who wanted to be senator, Jon Husted, and he said he was looking at him,” he said. “He said his ass was a “big pile of muscle.” And James Talarico is the gay one? I don’t know what’s going on.

Maher continued: “It’s just a little strange that Trump keeps talking about men’s bodies – and their beauty, their jaws, their butts, their physiques. I’m a little hurt. I was there for dinner for four hours last week, and not a word. Nothing.”

Of that White House dinner with Trump, Stephen A. Smith and Kid Rock, Maher proclaimed: “Yeah, I did it again, motherfuckers. I know. I’m the bad guy because I’m going to tell the man face to face the things you write in articles he’ll never read. But OK. You know what? Fuck you, I love these dinners.”

The comedian then joked, “There’s just something exciting about being announced when you’re at the White House. That moment when you’re outside the Oval Office and you hear the aide say, ‘Sir, your low-rated 7 a.m. model is here.’

Maher also joked that the four-hour dinner lasted “a little longer than the press secretary he hired last week.”

Yet the White House dinner wasn’t all fun and games because Maher “had a lot to talk about.”

“I mean, we talked about a lot of things. The Supreme Court, the ICE shootings… by abandoning the Afghans who helped us in the war, Hegseth is dragging you down, sir,” he explained. “When you say ‘Obama is not a centrist,’ your racism is showing. Please don’t name the ocean after you. What else… lose the 2020 election. I was at the Reflecting Pool that day – it looked like shit.”

The late host then sneered, “Or, as he said the next day, ‘He’s coming.'”

Political differences aside, Maher joked about etiquette at the White House dinner: “I couldn’t have been treated better if I was Russian.” »
