Bills vs. Ravens live updates: Score, analysis and highlights from the AFC showdown

The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens have half of their Week 8 matchup in the books. Entering the locker room at the break, Buffalo holds a 16-7 lead. However, the first half was overshadowed by injuries, particularly in the Ravens quarterback room.

On the first play from scrimmage for the Baltimore offense, Lamar Jackson, returning after missing the last three games with an ankle injury, injured his right thumb on an incomplete pass intended for Zay Flowers. On the follow-up, Jackson’s hand can be seen colliding with Bills passer Greg Rousseau. Jackson immediately ran to the sideline, was taken to the locker room and was dismissed quite quickly.

That pushed Tyler Huntley back under center, and the replacement led Baltimore on a touchdown drive to cut the Bills’ lead. That was until he suffered a toe injury that knocked him out of the game and officially put him on the list of players questionable for return. Because he was sidelined, the Ravens turned to third-string emergency quarterback Joe Fagnano, an undrafted rookie from UConn.

Fagnano finished the half with 50 yards on 5-of-8 passing and an interception. Huntley had two hits on four shots before leaving.

Will the Ravens be able to overcome these quarterback injuries? Will the Bills maintain their lead to improve to 6-1? We’re about to find out.
