Bo Nix called ‘selfless’ and ‘verified’ by ex-Broncos QB who deleted his post – Denver Sports

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix did not have a good game against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Yes, the Broncos walked away with a win, but Nix only threw for 107 yards and no touchdowns.

Denver had two first downs and six punts in the second half, taking a 14-3 lead in a game that ultimately went to overtime. A stunning interception from Ja’Quan McMillian and a clutch kick from Wil Lutz got the job done – an ugly 17-14 victory.

Former NFL QB Ryan Fitzpatrick blasted Bo Nix on Prime Video’s postgame show, saying he was “almost disrespectful to the quarterback position” and that Nix’s “efforts were garbage.”

Fitzpatrick is well known, but he was never a teammate of Nix. The same can’t be said for Ben DiNucci, who was signed to the Broncos’ practice squad last year after Nix broke his ankle.

DiNucci is now a member of the media and in that role he will have to criticize the players he once shared a locker room with, no matter how brief.

DiNucci posted on

DiNucci has since deleted this post after it was over three hours long and racked up over 80,000 views and 920 likes.

He sent another message, saying he was “talking about things that I don’t know are true” and “I was doing a disservice to Bo and the guys in that locker room who were my teammates.”

DiNucci has to choose a path, but that’s not the point. It’s no longer just members of the media who are ripping Bo Nix apart, it’s the guys who actually worked with him in the NFL.

The Broncos appear to have a major problem on their hands – such a pathetic offense has no chance of winning the Super Bowl. And discussions about Bo Nix have reached a boiling point.

The only positive is that Denver is 4-2 this season after surviving a brutal six-game stretch to start. Still, the vibes aren’t what anyone in Broncos country would call “high” right now.
