In an exclusive interview with Sean Hannity, President Donald Trump announced that President Xi Jinping has committed to purchasing 200 Boeing planes, boosting U.S. production.
Boeing’s largest 737 MAX has received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, paving the way for deliveries of a plane with 1,555 orders, representing a third of the company’s current 737 MAX order backlog.
The FAA announced Tuesday that it had certified the 737 MAX 10 after years of regulatory and safety reviews, removing a major hurdle for Boeing as it prepares to begin deliveries to airlines in the coming months.
Boeing said the plane has received orders from more than 30 customers worldwide, making the MAX 10 a key part of the company’s commercial aircraft order book.
This approval also marks a significant milestone for Boeing’s 737 MAX program, which has received 7,350 orders for the entire aircraft family, with nearly 2,500 aircraft delivered through the end of September 2026.

“Completing the certification program paves the way for us to deliver a Boeing aircraft that will set a new standard in commercial aviation,” Stephanie Pope, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said in a statement.
“The 737-10 offers greater capacity, longer range and best value in its class, a platform that will create more value and opportunities for airlines around the world,” Pope added.

The 737 MAX 10, the largest plane in Boeing’s single-aisle MAX family, can seat up to 230 passengers, although airlines typically configure the jet for 185 to 210 passengers in a two-class configuration, according to Boeing. The aircraft has a range of up to 3,100 nautical miles.
Certification follows an extensive FAA safety examination and testing program. Boeing said the process involved nearly 1,000 test flights, more than 2,000 flight hours and 1,000 hours of ground testing.
The aircraft includes safety enhancements, including an updated flight control system and an improved angle of attack sensor. Boeing said these improvements would eventually become standard across the entire 737 MAX family.

“The FAA’s decision follows a thorough review of the aircraft design and safety requirements,” said FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford. “We will continue to hold Boeing to the highest safety standards as the company begins production of the 737 MAX-10.”
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy also welcomed the approval, noting its importance to the U.S. aerospace industry.
“This is a major victory for America’s manufacturing industry and for our country’s status as a global aviation power,” Duffy said in the FAA statement.
