The Ravens listed Cam Jurgens as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice, suggesting the center will make his debut for the team when they face the Bengals on Sunday.
Jurgens was traded to the Ravens a few weeks ago, but missed the team’s two games due to a concussion he suffered late in his time with the Eagles. On Wednesday, Jurgens said getting acclimated to a new team while working through the concussion protocol has been an interesting process that he looks forward to leaving in the past.
“It is it’s been a wild process” said Jurgens, via the team’s website. “Was anyone traded while in the concussion protocol? It feels so good to get out of this protocol and start feeling a little like myself again. I love it here, I enjoy it. Every time you get traded, it’s such a crazy, whirlwind experience. But it’s such a good organization. I’m happy, excited to be here.
Jurgens played guard at the end of his tenure with the Eagles, but he returns under center on a Ravens team that has already lost three to serious injuries this year. Rookie Vega Ioane had moved inside, but he will return to right guard and the Ravens hope the revamped line solidifies quickly in a big game for the AFC North playoff race.
