Castlevania, MediEvil and Jaz Rignall – All the classic game news from the past week (November 8, 2026)

After last month’s beta, MediEvil’s AI-free recomp hits version 1.0

The recompilation of the original PS1 title has officially reached version 1.0, bringing a ton of fixes and improvements based on feedback from last month’s beta.

This includes improved stability, fixes for analog handling, audio playback, and FMVs, as well as “support for slang/libretro shader presets via ShaderMod,” a Mod Hub “for browsing and installing mods, asset packs, and shaders,” and “an in-game asset pack editor for creating and editing packs” (the full list is available here under Changes).
