Chiefs vs. Broncos score, live updates: Rashee Rice returns from hamstring injury as Patrick Mahomes, Kenneth Walker III look to bounce back in AFC West showdown

The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos will face off in an AFC West showdown in Week 8 – their second meeting of the season. The Chiefs dominated in their first meeting, winning 31-10 on “Monday Night Football” thanks to a superb 173-yard rushing performance from Kenneth Walker III.

The Broncos find themselves 5-2 in second place in the AFC West heading into Week 8, as the offense continues to find its footing under head coach Sean Payton. Since their season opener, the Broncos have won five of their last six games, including an overtime victory over the Seahawks in Week 6 – the same team that just handed the Chiefs their first loss of the season.

The Chiefs will look to bounce back after scoring just three points against the Seahawks, where Patrick Mahomes and Walker both looked unanswered. It was the fewest points scored since Week 18 of the 2024 season (against the Broncos), where the Chiefs were shut out with Mahomes on the bench, resting ahead of the playoffs.
