Saber Interactive has just released Hellraiser: Revival by Clive Barker. Powered by Unreal Engine 5.6.1.0, it’s time to compare it and review its performance on PC.
For our benchmarks, I used an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 32 GB of DDR5 at 6000 MHz, AMD’s Radeon RX 6900XT, RX 7900XTX, RX 9070XT, as well as the RTX 2080Ti, RTX 3080, RTX 4090, RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 from NVIDIA. also used Windows 10 64-bit, as well as GeForce 617.14 and Radeon Adrenalin Edition 26.9.2 drivers.
Saber Interactive has added a respectable number of graphics settings to tweak. PC gamers can adjust the quality of view distance, shadows, textures, overall lighting, reflections, and more. The game also supports NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 3.0 and Intel XeSS 2.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival does not have a built-in reference tool. So for our benchmarks I used this scene. This seemed like one of the most demanding ones to be found within the first hour of gameplay. As such, it should give us a pretty good idea of how the rest works.

All of our GPUs can run this game at 60 FPS at 1080p with Epic settings. Yes, even our old NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti can reach 60 FPS. I’m very impressed with what the development team has done here. The game uses Lumen, but it still runs great on a wide range of GPUs. It’s great to see.

At 1440p with Epic settings, our top five GPUs ran the game at over 60 FPS at all times. At native 4K with Epic settings, only the NVIDIA RTX 5090 stayed above 60 FPS at all times. The NVIDIA RTX 4090 also did well, averaging 65 FPS. However, its frame rate could drop to 57 FPS. So you would need a G-Sync monitor for a completely smooth experience.

Graphically, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is superb. The game has an amazing art style and doesn’t suffer from any major visual issues. Honestly, this game shows what small teams can achieve with Unreal Engine 5. The game punches above its weight. Thanks to Lumen, it always looks great, even when you’re in shady places.
Overall, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is one of the most optimized PC games of 2026. It runs well on a wide range of GPUs and you don’t need a high-end PC to enjoy it. It also supports all major PC upscalers, and it looks great. My only issue is some traversal stutters that can occur here and there. Fortunately, they aren’t as bad as in some other Unreal Engine 5 games. Still, most players will notice them. Aside from these stutters, this is one of the most accomplished PC games of 2026!
