If today has nothing to offer you, nothing will.
There are SEVEN ranked versus ranked games today, so Tuesday’s College Football Playoff second seeding will be rather different.
- No. 3 Utah welcomes his rival No. 9 BYU for the holy war
- #7 Texas visits No. 18 Missouri
- Lane Kiffin and No. 14 LSU play rival No. 5 Alabama
- No. 12 Ohio State must recover from a second defeat by playing No. 23 Oregon
- No. 6 Kentucky face a rival No. 13 Tennessee
- #1 Miami goes into a hostile environment to face No. 11 Notre-Dame at night
- No. 10 Ole Miss has another huge home game this season, hosting No. 2 Georgia after receiving a visit from LSU in September
ESPN’s “College GameDay” takes place in South Bend, where the Irish will face a Miami team without star WR Malachi Toney, who reportedly needs surgery for a high ankle sprain.
In another top 10 game, BYU RB star LJ Martin will return from an ankle injury. Martin hasn’t played since October 3. He’s averaging 7.8 yards per attempt this season – a year after totaling 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns.
In the SEC, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Missouri and LSU all want to stay firmly in the CFP race by winning at home and avoiding a third loss, with the Rebels having to do so without RB Kewan Lacy.
