Washington faced the San Francisco Dirty-Niners on Monday Night Football and looked like a Pop Warner team playing local high school kids during the first half. The Commanders came out in the second half and made a game of it, but it felt like Kyle Shanahan was just playing with Dan Quinn the entire game.
Washington is now 1-4-1 heading into a bye week and will look to make some much-needed adjustments on both sides of the ball (and perhaps at head coach) when it returns to action on November 1 against a reeling Eagles team on Sunday Night Football.
Below are my Studs and Duds from the game, followed by some notes.
