Sean “Diddy” Combs56, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, October 10 following a medical emergency at FCI Prison Fort Dix in New Jersey, TMZ reported.
Diddy was taken to the hospital to treat a head injury, although it’s unclear how the music mogul got injured. Sources told TMZ that Diddy’s head injury was not life-threatening. He is also conscious and speaking alone, according to an inside source.
The CEO of Bad Boy Records was transported around 1:00 a.m., before returning to FCI Fort Dix a few hours later the same day.
Diddy is currently serving his 50-month prison sentence (4 years and 2 months) after being convicted by a federal jury of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July 2025, the BBC reported. He was sentenced on October 3, 2025, after being arrested a year earlier, in September 2024. Diddy was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking allegations.
Just days before Diddy was rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency, his prison sentence was pushed back 41 days. Diddy was originally scheduled for release on January 21, 2028 and is now scheduled for March 2, 2028, the New York Post reported. The music mogul’s sentence was extended after contraband and special treatments, including meals and massages, were discovered. Diddy has since been placed in solitary confinement, also known as the Special Housing Unit (SHU), for disobeying prison orders.
Sources told NBC News that Diddy allegedly spent thousands of dollars a month at the low-security prison in order to live a privileged life.
