Donna Kelce has a surprising reaction to the reappearance of her son Travis’ offensive tweets

Donna Kelce has fiercely denied allegations that her son Travis Kelce made offensive remarks in past social media posts, written before he began playing football professionally in 2013.

“Not Travis’s nickname and not his account!!” » the 74-year-old matriarch wrote on the platform on Saturday after being tagged in some of the deleted and resurfaced posts.

“As a man you have something wrong with you if you (sic) go for girls who weigh more than (sic) you,” an alleged tweet from 2010 read.

Another reportedly wrote the same year: “Why can’t girls hide their back fat? It’s mean.”

Many of the tweets allegedly mentioned “ugly” girls, with one joking about being “attacked by ugly girls” and another saying: “Haha, I found myself judging every person that passed me, if they were ugly, fat, funny, sexy haha, I’m tripping.”

A representative for Travis, 37, was not immediately available for Page Six for comment.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end previously addressed other resurfaced tweets during a 2023 episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.

“Fuck. What’s hilarious is no one followed me at the time,” the athlete said, explaining that he used the platform as a “diary.”

Travis, who began playing football professionally when he was drafted in 2013, admitted he was working to have his past tweets removed.

“Sure enough, it got to the surface level and everyone dove into 2011,” he continued. “What a damn year it was.”

“What the fuck was I doing in some of those tweets?” Travis added, joking that he was “tortured” when the tweets went viral.

The NFL star recently came under fire after “liking” a social media post supporting comedian Shane Gillis’ controversial opening monologue, “Saturday Night Live.” The comedian called women who hit the gym in short shorts “whores” during the Oct. 10 episode.

A source close to Travis told Page Six that “he’s always been a huge fan of the show and was supporting a friend.”

Travis, meanwhile, is preparing to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at Chiefs Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

It’s unclear if his wife, Taylor Swift, will make an appearance.
