DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) – One man was found dead and another was hospitalized after a suspected shooting in Douglas County Saturday morning.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a health call at a home in the area of 219th and Hascall just before 7 a.m. Saturday.
At the home, deputies were treating a 35-year-old man who died from a gunshot wound. DCSO says a second resident of the home, a 63-year-old man, was transported to the hospital before deputies arrived.
DCSO says the investigation into the incident is ongoing and there is currently no threat to the public.
