Fox News stars Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt are getting married Saturday. The couple wanted to celebrate with President Donald Trump, so Friday night they hosted a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner at Mar-a-Lago.
The president and first lady Melania Trump were in attendance at the celebration, sources confirmed to CNN. Senior administration officials and familiar Fox faces were also in attendance. The president is not expected to attend Saturday’s wedding ceremony, which will take place at a different venue.
Trump was heard discussing the wedding weekend with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis earlier in the day. The president later told reporters, “We’re going to go celebrate with Sean Hannity and Ainsley at Mar-a-Lago. They’re doing a great, beautiful thing.”
Hannity, the longtime host of Fox News’ 9 p.m., and Earhardt, co-host of the morning show “Fox & Friends,” were nicknamed the “first couple of Fox News” when they began dating.
The relationship was first reported in 2020, shortly after Hannity confirmed that her first marriage ended in divorce. Earhardt has been married twice.
Hannity and Earhardt tried to keep their relationship private, but they announced in December 2024 that Hannity had proposed to her over Christmas.
“Great news about Sean and Ainsley,” Trump wrote on Truth Social at the time. “They are officially engaged! There are no more beautiful people than these, and there will be no more beautiful couple.”
Both Hannity and Earhardt are staunch supporters of the president on-air and personal friends with him off-air.
“I have had a personal relationship with President Trump for over 30 years,” Hannity said in a statement released by Fox Friday evening. “When Ainsley and I started planning this celebration, it was important to us that he could be a part of this special time in our lives.”
So, they chose Mar-a-Lago as their party location. Hannity said they “paid fair market value for the place,” apparently preempting any questions about the financial arrangement.
CNN has contacted the Trump Organization for comment on this arrangement.
Attendees at the rehearsal dinner included Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.; Senators Tim Scott and Darline Graham; Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media; Jay Wallace, president and editor-in-chief of Fox News; and Earhardt’s other morning show co-hosts.
“Celebrating this beautiful season of our lives surrounded by the people we love most is truly a dream come true,” Earhardt said in a statement released by Fox.
