The ultra-conservative presenter railed against the prospect of Trump cooperating with “the modern Hitler of our generation.”
Donald Trump received a stark wake-up call from one of Fox News’ oldest and most conservative anchors.
Brian Kilmeade, 62, appeared on Fox and Friends Weekend On Sunday, he spoke out against Trump’s suggestion that Ukraine replace President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The president was upset because Zelensky came out and said, ‘Don’t buy five hundred million tons of diesel,'” he said of the president’s decision to buy fuel from Russia.

Brian Kilmeade just celebrated 30 years at Fox News, and shocked his colleagues with his censorship of Trump.
Kilmeade went on to suggest that Trump was putting the United States on the wrong side of history.
“So Zelensky is frustrated because now all this money is going to flow to Russia, which started this whole war without provocation. They are the bad guys. And there is no way that Zelensky will refuse a plausible deal…” he said.

Kilmeade and Campos-Duffy argued as the former warned of Trump’s “biggest mistake.”
When co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy suggested that Zelensky was responsible for the lack of progress in peace talks, Kilmeade countered by saying, “There was no plausible, practical peace effort that Vladimir Putin would effectively participate in that would end this war.”

“There is one person who is responsible: Vladimir Putin. That’s it. And he’s getting kicked.”
Things got even heated when Campos-Duffy accused Zelensky of ruining the chances for peace by ignoring Trump’s calls not to bomb refineries.

Kilmeade criticized Trump for choosing to side with the “bad guys” over fuel shortages caused by his own war with Iran.
“Are you for America or Ukraine? she asked.
Kilmeade went further and blamed Trump’s war with Iran for the fuel shortage.
“Diesel fuel was stopped because Iran was blowing up oil from Gulf countries and their refineries. And now all of a sudden the focus is on Russia,” he said.
“The president said he wanted peace in Ukraine,” Campos-Duffy argued after tense exchanges.
“Tell Vladimir Putin,” his co-host replied.
Former reality TV star Campos-Duffy then speculated that peace might now be restored since Trump aligned himself with Putin.
The conservative host speculated that Trump’s Russian fuel payments would come back to hurt us thanks to Putin’s ties to China and Iran.

Kilmeade got serious. “It would be his administration’s biggest mistake to work with Russia. He is the modern Hitler of our generation,” he said.
Of the potential repercussions to come, the former Trump loyalist warned: “He is the cause of all the problems in the region and he is now helping Iran, he will kill our men and blow up our bases.” »
