The Sims October 4, 2026 patch adds free CAS and build/purchase items
A new free The Sims October 4, 2026 Patch is available on PC, Mac, Xbox and PlayStation. It includes new features for older Sims in Create a Sim and Build/Buy modes! These are two hairstyles, four clothes, five clothing recolors for existing looks, four stylish lookseleven new items to build/purchase and a stylish new room! Let’s take a look!
New Free CAS Items in The Sims October 4, 2026 Patch
Older Sims get new wardrobe options in this free update! The latest patch introduces two new hairstyles for Adult and Elder Sims, four clothing items, and five recolors of existing clothing items.
Two new hairstyles
New hairstyles include Quiff Side Part Hair and Half Down Waves Hair.
Four items of clothing
Clothing additions include a new sweater, lace dress, sleeveless blouse, and midi skirt with pockets.

The update also brings five clothing recolors for existing items: Grandma’s Dress, Grandpa’s Tall Jacket, Long Cardigan, Open Cardigan, and Loose Pants.

New Purchase/Build Items for Older Sims
Older Sims also get new interior design! This free update adds ELEVEN new build/buy items, perfect for creating cozy homes or a timeless retreat.
