State of Florida freshman cornerback Chuck Kennon is no longer a member of the Florida State football team. Kennon had only appeared in one game this season, playing late in the win against Virginia two weekends ago.
“He was ejected for conduct detrimental to the team,” the FSU spokesperson confirmed Tuesday morning.
He was removed from the list on Monday.
He enrolled at FSU in early January of this year.
Kennon was FSU’s highest-ranked signee in the 2026 class. He was ranked No. 51 overall and No. 6 cornerback in the country. He had a 97 rating on 247Sports.com and was one of three Top247 signees for the Seminoles.
He committed to FSU on July 6, 2025. He chose FSU over more than three dozen offers.
