Garrett Wilson is in the concussion protocol

The Jets could be without wide receiver Garrett Wilson in Kansas City this weekend.

Head coach Aaron Glenn said in a news conference Wednesday that Wilson is in the concussion protocol. It’s unclear when Wilson entered protocol or began experiencing concussion symptoms, as he didn’t leave last Sunday’s 38-33 loss to the Raiders before the final whistle.

Glenn called Wilson, who had six catches for 83 yards in the loss, day-to-day and his progress in the protocol will be monitored over the next few days. He has 43 catches for 527 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper, Isaiah Williams, Tim Patrick and Malik McClain are the other players on the Jets’ 53-man roster.
