Gisele Bündchen has stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, starting a new family nearly four years after her high-profile divorce from Tom Brady. But on Saturday evening, the model made a surprise return to the brand that contributed to her fame.
Bündchen appeared in a pre-recorded music video at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026 in Los Angeles, two decades after his last show with the brand. And she teased that fans would be seeing a lot more of her very soon.
Brady and Bündchen’s divorce
Brady and Bündchen were one of the most famous couples on the planet during their 13-year marriage, but the relationship ended in 2022. The couple finalized their divorce in October, just months after Brady unretired to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
New details about the end of their marriage emerged earlier this month in Lars Anderson’s new book, Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness. According to an extract obtained by the Daily MailBündchen was so upset by Brady’s decision not to retire that she flew to Costa Rica.
Anderson also wrote that Brady’s mysterious 11-day absence from Bucs training camp in August 2022 was a trip to a private resort in the Bahamas, where he made “one last desperate attempt” to save his marriage.
“When he returned to Tampa after an 11-day absence, his spirit seemed more broken than before. It was obvious that a significant incident had occurred,” Anderson wrote. “Nearly two weeks’ frantic efforts to save his marriage failed. Brady’s loved ones feared the countdown to divorce was on.”
“You’re going to see more of me.”
Today, Bündchen seems to be returning to her modeling roots. The 46-year-old appeared at the very beginning of Saturday’s livestream before Bella Hadid opened the show, lounging in a pink lace bra and one of the brand’s silky dresses.
“Are you ready for the show?” Bündchen asked, via People.
She returned after the finale with a hint about what’s next.
“Wasn’t that amazing,” Bündchen said. “You’ll see more of me soon. Ciao!”
Bündchen first walked in the show in 1999 and signed a record $25 million contract with Victoria’s Secret in 2000. Her last show with the brand took place in 2006, three years before she married Brady.
Since the divorce, both have moved on. Brady is now the lead NFL analyst for Fox Sports, while Bündchen married Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in a private ceremony last December. The couple welcomed a son in February 2025.
Clearly, Bündchen is ready to open a new chapter, and it looks like Victoria’s Secret could play a big role in it.
