GTA 6 Leaker Claims to Have Full Version and Threatens to Release It Unless Take-Two Apologizes

The notorious leaker known as Cyberleek is now threatening to release what would be a playable version of GTA 6 before the game launches on November 19. According to a post on the leaker’s website, the version will supposedly include the full story mode, playable until the end credits. The threat comes with two conditions. The construct would apparently disappear if a coin linked to the leaker reached a market cap of $30 million, and the coin would be about $26 million shy of that mark. The message also offers Take-Two a way to avoid publication, stating: “Take-Two has only one way out: physical discs and a public apology.”

This is a reference to GTA 6 launching disc-free, as boxed copies must come with a download code. Neither Take-Two nor Rockstar appear to have responded publicly so far, but Rockstar acknowledged the leaks in late August. Tying the threat to a coin’s market cap also gives the post an obvious financial angle, since attention alone could move the price, so it’s probably best to treat this claim with caution. This claim has not been independently verified, there is no date attached to it, and it may well turn out to be a bluff. Readers are also advised to stay away from the leaker’s site and any files claiming to be the full version of GTA 6, as there is no way of knowing what they actually contain.
