The group behind the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks is once again attempting to raise money, this time by dangling the prospect of releasing a “full playable version of over 200 GB” of the anticipated video game.
On Saturday, CyberLeek published the “offer” on its website to increase the price of the group’s meme coin on the Solana blockchain. “Here’s the deal, nice and clean. CYBERLEEK hits 30 million market cap, release complete – full story mode, played to completion, credits and all. Don’t believe it has a full story mode? Ask for what you want to see, and it will be provided to you,” he wrote.
On Monday, CyberLeek listed a “full playable version of over 200 GB” as the final step if the meme coin reaches a market cap of $30 million. So far, the piece has been estimated at just $2.5 million. It is also trading at $0.0034, well below the $0.025 it was valued at on August 23, when the market cap was briefly $23 million.
Additionally, the coin’s value appears to have only dropped despite the group’s latest leaks.

We wouldn’t be surprised if CyberLeek decides to cash in with the group’s coin at some point. In late August, CyberLeek appeared to do just that, raising about $270,000, according to IGN.
It’s unclear from the wording of CyberLeek’s latest posts whether the group plans to release footage of themselves playing GTA 6 up until the end credits or whether they’re determined to release a workable copy that anyone can run. If real, the playable version could spoil the release of GTA 6 on November 19.
Pre-orders are already available. The game is only available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but some scammers have been circulating fake PC versions to drain cryptocurrency wallets or trick users into downloading malware.

So far, GTA 6’s publisher, Take-Two Interactive, has not responded to a request for comment. He subpoenaed user records from several companies, including Microsoft and Discord, but clearly failed to identify the culprit.
In the meantime, CyberLeek released more gameplay footage, all but confirming that the group had stolen a playable copy of GTA 6. After going silent for a month, CyberLeek returned last Thursday with a 25-minute video of gameplay footage. Over the weekend, the group released a few more clips showing one of the main characters, Lucia, naked.

Experience
I have been a journalist for over 15 years. I got my start as a Kansas City schools and towns reporter and joined PCMag in 2017, where I cover satellite internet services, cybersecurity, computer hardware and more. I’m currently based in San Francisco, but previously spent over five years in China, covering the country’s technology sector.
Since 2020, I have covered the launch and explosive growth of SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service, writing more than 600 articles on feature availability and launches, but also regulatory battles over expanding satellite constellations, struggles with rival providers like AST SpaceMobile and Amazon, and efforts to expand into mobile satellite service. I scoured FCC filings for the latest news and traveled to remote corners of California to test Starlink’s cellular service.
I also cover cyber threats, from ransomware gangs to the emergence of AI-driven malware. In 2024 and 2025, the FTC forced Avast to pay consumers $16.5 million for secretly collecting and selling their personal information to third-party customers, my joint report reveals. investigation with motherboard.
I also cover the PC graphics card market. Pandemic-era shortages led me to camp out outside a Best Buy to get an RTX 3000. I’m now tracking the impact of the AI-driven memory shortage on the entire consumer electronics market. I’m always keen to learn more, so please share your feedback and send me tips.
