Gucci-clad Nicki Minaj joins Trump in Michigan

Rapper Nicki Minaj joined President Trump in Michigan for a rally on Sunday, dressed in head-to-toe Gucci — as one of Trump’s top aides joked that she could fill a high-profile White House vacancy.

The “Super Bass” singer was spotted walking alongside Trump as they got off Air Force One at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, marking another high-profile appearance alongside the president.

White House communications director Steven Cheung, known for trolling people on social media, shared a video of Minaj arriving with Trump and playfully suggesting she might head to the briefing room.

“I think we may have found the next White House press secretary!” » Cheung wrote.

This post comes after Katie Zachariah resigned from her position just five days after taking office.

Minaj, a staunch Trump supporter, has increasingly embraced the president, making appearances alongside him and praising his economic agenda.

The rapper has previously expressed support for Trump’s policies, helping cement her status as an unlikely ally in the president’s celebrity-heavy support system.

Minaj was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the United States when she was a child. She is a permanent resident, but it is unclear whether she has become a US citizen – and therefore able to vote.
