In Haiti, a local association regularly organizes capoeira workshops – an Afro-Brazilian martial art. The objective: to reduce community violence and promote social reintegration, by welcoming everyone, “even children who are part of armed gangs”, according to the founder of the association, while the security situation in the country has deteriorated in recent years.
