Tom Brady’s rumored romance with Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel has already sparked a messy argument between Swanepoel and one of his closest friends. But according to a new report, Brady wants nothing to do with it.
An insider claims the former NFL quarterback feels like he’s being unfairly dragged into the drama between Swanepoel and fellow model Joan Smalls. The source also claimed that Brady was in no rush to make things official with Swanepoel, although she may have wanted something more serious.
Model feud
While their relationship was recently revealed to the public, Brady and Swanepoel have been quietly dating since June, according to TMZ. Brady, 49, has been divorced from Gisele Bündchen since 2022 and has since been linked to several high-profile women, including Smalls.
The new relationship reportedly blew up a 15-year friendship between Swanepoel and Smalls, as a source told Page Six that Swanepoel repeatedly encouraged Smalls to dump Brady while they were dating, only to later start a relationship with him herself.
Smalls seemingly made her feelings clear online, responding to a fan who asked if she was still friends with Swanepoel by writing, “I’m not friends with traitors.”
She also continued to receive vaccines this week. On Wednesday, Smalls wrote on her Instagram Story, according to the Daily Mail: “This Halloween I’m dressing up as the manager. Apparently it’s the scariest (scariest) thing some people can face.”
“Caught in the crossfire”
Now a source has told the Daily Mail that Brady would prefer to stay out of it.
“Tom absolutely wants no part of Candice and Joan’s feud, and he feels like he’s being caught in the crossfire in a situation that really has nothing to do with him,” the source said, via the Daily Mail. “Whatever tension there is between them is their business, and he doesn’t think it’s right to be dragged into the drama.”
“The last thing he wants is to get drawn into what he considers to be high school antics,” the source added.
Needless to say, Brady doesn’t seem happy about all this drama.
