Apple’s HomeView is available for pre-order now and will ship on November 13. Here are the Apple apps you’ll be able to use on HomeView at launch.
Here are the apps coming to Apple HomeView on day one

HomeView is a whole new category of Apple products and runs software never before seen.
While most of the software experience centers around voice interactions with Siri AI and customizable faces, HomeView also has a classic home screen with a grid of apps.
Here are all the Apple apps that will be available on HomeView at launch:
- Alarms
- Audiobooks
- Calendar
- Classical music
- FaceTime
- Find my
- Home
- Intercom
- Messages
- Music
- News
- Podcasts
- Reminders
- Safari
- Settings
- Timers
- TV
- Weather report
- World clock

Almost every app on this list comes preinstalled on HomeView. But according to Apple’s website, four of them rely on an iPhone connection: audiobooks, classical music, news and TV.
In theory, these four apps should work seamlessly if your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network as HomeView. But we will have to wait for the first opinions to be sure.
Third-party apps will also be available if they already have a CarPlay version and are classified as audio or video apps. This means that Spotify, for example, should be present on day one of HomeView.
I hope Apple plans to add more apps over time. The lack of a dedicated Photos app, for example, seems like a major omission. There are Faces and Photos widgets, but I imagine users might also want to browse their photo library on HomeView.
Which HomeView apps do you plan to use the most? Are there any missing that you hope to see added? Let us know in the comments.
