If you or a loved one have been affected by the Walmart nightmare Legend of Zelda With pre-orders for the Switch 2 console being canceled at the last minute, the retailer is attempting a make good, but only for a limited time.
Check the email you used for the initial pre-order and you should find a message from Walmart customer service stating that these cancellations were “in error”, and you will find an item named “Exclusive Reservation” in your cart. Once payment is made, you will reserve your console, but the email specifies that you only have 48 hours to claim it, so don’t wait.
Additionally, Walmart is also offering an e-gift card for $519, the original price of the console, so you can use it however you want. Maybe buy it Zelda professional controller or, I don’t know, grocery store.
Hopefully all the consoles that need to be shipped will arrive in time for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake coming to Switch 2 on November 5.
