representative Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.) said “it was a big mistake” to promote Stephen Miller to the White House chief of staff rather than firing him.
Speaking to CNN’s Manu Raju on ‘Inside Politics Sunday’ Stutzmann said: “I think it was a big mistake” to promote Milleras president Donald Trump did so after Republicans suffered a midterm bombardment on Tuesday.
Republicans lost dozens of House seatsTuesday, including one in Indiana. Stutzmannwhose district is in northern Indiana, won another term, but his vote share fell from 65% in 2024 to less than 55% this year.
“I come from the business world just like the President Asset do,” Stutzmann “And you know what? If your team is as badly beaten as we took last week, you have to lay off people. You don’t promote the ones who are, who were in charge of what was supposed to be delivered.”
