Jake Paul returns to the ring.
The YouTuber turned boxer fought former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua last December and lasted until the sixth round as a formidable underdog. However, during the fight he suffered a broken jaw which threatened his career.
Paul recently told Ariel Helwani that never boxing again “is definitely within the realm of possibility” – but it’s not a reality.

Paul and his most valuable promotional brand announced Thursday that he will fight in Dubai on Christmas Eve, with an opponent to be announced at a later date.
“I spent years proving people wrong, taking risks and competing against opponents no one thought I would face. Nothing that happened changed my confidence in myself or what I’m working towards,” Paul said. “I’m hungrier than ever and on Thursday, December 24, I return to the ring in Dubai to begin the next chapter of my journey.

“Dubai is a city that thinks big, breaks boundaries and doesn’t believe in limits. It’s exactly the kind of place I want to make a comeback. We’ve got a lot of names on the roster; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town and someone is getting eliminated.”
“Twelve months ago he suffered a double broken jaw against a two-time heavyweight champion of the world and since then many have doubted his desire or need to return to boxing. Well, he’s back, and that tells you everything about competitor Jake Paul and how much he loves the sport,” added Nakisa Bidarian, Paul’s business partner.
Paul is 12-2, including a victory against Mike Tyson in November 2024.
