Jennifer Lawrence fans were left with more questions than answers after the “Hunger Games” star launched her latest business venture.
Lawrence, 36, launched her new beauty brand mes° online with The Cut and also revealed she underwent breast augmentation in a bid to become a “hot mom”.
While some users celebrated Lawrence’s candid approach to plastic surgery, others admitted the actress looked “unrecognizable” in the photo spread.

“Who else didn’t know it was Jennifer Lawrence??” one user wrote, while another noted, “I wouldn’t have been able to recognize Jennifer Lawrence without the text!!”
“Unrecognizable. What did she do to her face,” one fan asked.

“She looks like a completely different person. Like when Jennifer Gray got her nose job and no one knew who she was,” another fan wrote.
Some users suggested the Oscar winner had “eye surgery,” while others asked, “Who edited these photos?”
Others praised her photos, with one person writing: “She literally looks younger every time I see her.”
“She can do whatever she wants,” another noted.

In the profile published Tuesday, Lawrence admitted that part of the reason she wants to look her best has to do with her children.
“I want to be a hot mom,” she said. “When filing, I want to look like a woman who has her sex together even when I just wake up and I don’t have my sex together.”
Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney have two sons together: four-year-old Cy and a 19-month-old boy whose name has not yet been publicly released.
She told The New Yorker in October 2025 that she was strongly considering a makeover, after previously admitting to dabbling in other cosmetic procedures in an interview with Vogue.

“I can’t really do much,” she said. “I need to have some movement in my face – I’m getting baby Botox, but there’s only so much I can do.”
Lawrence said she was “nervous” about fat transfers, but celebrated others in their pursuit of beauty.
“I support other people who are doing it because I want to keep watching and see what’s going on, but I’m not aware of it,” she said. “I mean, I would love to have buccal fat removal.”
She explained that she wouldn’t pursue the treatment “because everyone would know, but just know that I want this,” then noted that she preferred radiofrequency treatments “because I have huge cheeks so I want to exercise them as much as possible.”

Earlier this year, Lawrence admitted that she considers herself a “stay-at-home mom” more than anything during her appearance on the “Smartless” podcast.
“That’s me. I identify as a stay-at-home mom,” she said when describing her life as an actress. “But I’m obviously working. I’m not used to being busy like this.”

She added: “I normally have a busy three months while filming, but even in that sense it’s quiet because there’s nothing else to do. I just go to work, do this, come home, sleep, and then do it again. And then, like, two weeks while you’re promoting. It’s hectic.”
