Justin Baldoni returned to the Hollywood spotlight with his friends and family by his side.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s episode, sources close to the production of “Dancing With the Stars” exclusively shared with Page Six that the actor will make his first major public ballroom appearance for Tuesday night’s Super Bowl-themed show.
“Justin’s wife Emily and their two children will be with him. They will be special guests of longtime family friend Julianne Hough,” insiders told us.
Having worked together on the set of “My Last Days” in 2016, Baldoni, who directed the series, and Hough have been friends for more than a decade.
The “Dancing with the Stars” co-host even tapped Marinda Davis, one of the women featured on the CW series, to choreograph a dance during season 25 of the ABC reality show that Hough herself performed.
Before attending the taping on Tuesday, the Nashville-based family of four spent their weekend in Los Angeles at Universal Studios to celebrate their son Maxwell’s birthday with some of their cousins.
Although the director has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, he has been spotted spending time with his loved ones.
Over the summer, Baldoni took his children to Europe, where they visited the United Kingdom, Iceland and Scotland. During their trip, Baldoni shared photo snapshots with his followers, including riding Harry Potter’s broom during a special studio visit.
“Epic dad-kids trip across the UK,” Baldoni posted.
In January 2025, the family vacationed in Hawaii with close friends. They were also spotted on social media later that year at Disney World in Florida, where they were seen dining with characters.
Baldoni also shared an on-set photo last month reuniting with his “Jane the Virgin” co-star Gina Rodriguez for her directorial debut in “House of Guerrero.”
In the caption shared with his followers, Baldoni hugged Rodriguez to celebrate “day one” of filming for the project he’s producing alongside his production company, Wayfarer Studios.
The actor’s return to the forefront was long overdue.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, accusing them of sexual harassment on the set of their film “It Ends With Us.”
In the lawsuit, the actress also alleged that Baldoni and Wayfarer helped orchestrate a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni and Wayfarer denied all allegations and sued Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and others involved for defamation and extortion for $400 million.
In May, the case was settled out of court without any financial exchange between the two parties, although Baldoni was ordered to pay a portion of Lively’s legal fees.
