Karl Rove dismisses Trump insults: ‘I really don’t care’

Longtime Republican strategist Karl Rove ignored President Donald Trump’s tirade against him and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) earlier this week, who blamed them for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s declining prospects in his bid for a Senate seat.

“Unfortunately and very foolishly, John Cornyn and his Liddle buddy, Super RINO, Karl Rove, are doing everything they can to make it difficult for Ken Paxton, the greatest Attorney General in Texas history and one of the best in the United States, to win the upcoming midterm elections against a radical leftist madman, James TalaFREAKO, who is the ANTITHESIS of Texas values.” Trump raged Thursday on Truth Social.

Rove fired back at Trump during Thursday’s broadcast of “The Guy Benson Show” on Fox News, saying it “seems like he thinks Paxton is going to lose, and he’s looking for someone to blame.”

“And if I am weak and ineffective, how could I have done anything to diminish the power of the man who won 96 percent of the counties in Texas?” he added.

He told Benson: “I don’t know what the president is talking about, and with all due respect, I really don’t care. »
