Kevin Federline has been hit with another unpaid credit card bill following the end of child support payments from his ex-wife Britney Spears.
Page Six can exclusively reveal that Bank of America sued Federline in February for the $12,186.64 he owed the bank.
Bank of America also asked the Honolulu, Hawaii, court to determine whether the former backup dancer owes them interest, reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs associated with the case, including the $155 it cost to file the lawsuit.
We can confirm that Bank of America filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice in June, stating that the amount owed had been paid.
Representatives for Federline did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The revelation adds to the growing financial problems the 48-year-old has faced since November 2024, when Spears was no longer required to send her ex-husband thousands of dollars a month for their two sons: Sean Preston Federline, 20, and Jayden James Federline, 19.
In fact, Page Six just discovered that City National Bank filed its own lawsuit against Kevin earlier this week for the $117,704 he allegedly owed the bank.
Interestingly, City National Bank claims that Kevin signed the initial agreement with them for a credit card, line of credit and overdraft line the same month he stopped receiving funds from the pop princess, 44.
According to the bank, Kevin’s credit card debt was due last August, his line of credit was due last June, and his overdraft line was due two months earlier, in April.
City National Bank also wants the father of six to cough up unpaid accrued interest to the tune of 20.5% on the credit card, 7.5% on the line of credit and 18% on the overdraft line.
Kevin — who was married to Spears from October 2004 to July 2007 — initially received $40,000 a month in child support for their boys, who have lived with their father, his current wife, Victoria Prince, and the couple’s children in Hawaii since August 2023.
After Sean Preston turned 18 in September 2023, the payments were reduced to $20,000 per month and continued until Jayden James turned 18.
