Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have filed for divorce.
Qualley was listed as a plaintiff, but they jointly filed for divorce on Friday, according to New York Supreme Court records obtained exclusively by Page Six.
They also filed a settlement agreement, which is still being reviewed by the court.
The couple, who married in August 2023, sparked speculation they were splitting after the Bleachers frontman attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s nuptials solo.
Antonoff, 42, reportedly told fellow wedding guests that he and his partner, 32, were in an “argument” because he “didn’t want to put up a facade… when (he and Qualley) were having problems.”
On July 8, Page Six confirmed that the singer and Qualley had separated after nearly three years of marriage.
A source exclusively tells Us the couple didn’t break up for any “dramatic reason,” dispelling social media “rumors” of infidelity.
“They are thinking about all of this together,” the source added. “For what it’s worth, they had a beautiful and loving relationship. Sometimes these things just don’t work out.”
Plus, we heard that “communication was definitely a challenge” for the couple.
“Jack could be very particular about how he liked things,” a source told us. “He often preferred things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn’t always feel like her point of view was heard or given equal weight.”
Us Weekly later reported that it was the actress who initiated the breakup, calling “their busy schedules and distance” as factors in the decision.
“They were still trying to work on the marriage a few months ago, but it ultimately didn’t work out,” the outlet claimed. “At some point the rose-colored glasses fell off for Margaret and she felt she needed to step back.”
Just this week, Antonoff shared that performing songs on Qualley was still a “really beautiful” experience despite their split.
Qualley and Antonoff started dating in the summer of 2021 after meeting at a party.
“I saw it and it was like a Hallmark movie that doesn’t seem believable,” the latter explained on “The Howard Stern Show” in April. “When I met her, I started imagining things I never imagined, like marriage.”
News broke in May 2022 that the Grammy-winning music producer had popped the question.
He did so in Paris, telling Howard Stern: “I came back (after calling his sister, Rainey Qualley), and I could tell I looked crazy because she was looking at me like something was wrong, and I think it was because I had started sweating.” »
Qualley and Antonoff walked down the aisle in New Jersey in August of the following year.
The “Maid” alum called Antonoff her “person” in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar just before the ceremony.
“It’s real. It’s incredible,” she gushed about their love. “It’s the best feeling in the world. I’m so excited and so comfortable at the same time.”
Page Six has contacted its representatives for comment.
