Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) is converting reelection ads in the D.C. media market into messages selling voters on a redistricting amendment that is currently unpopular.
The shift of about $750,000 in campaign ads allows Moore, a potential 2028 presidential candidate, to present the redistricting measure as a way to fight back against President Donald Trump, who has sparked a national redistricting war mid-cycle.
