Mckenna Grace and her Hunger Games: Sunrise over the Harvest The co-stars went on a global press tour to promote the franchise prequel from Suzanne Collins.
During most of Grace’s appearances, she has paid tribute to Jennifer Lawrence and The hunger games spent channeling some of their outfits.
Grace kicked off the press tour in the white dress that Lawrence wore Catch fire and shared his feelings about it in a social media post.

“I am SUCH a fan of this franchise, so the opportunity to recreate something like this was so special,” Grace shared on Instagram. “A huge thank you to the entire team who helped me get ready, and especially @mollyddickson who has been helping me make all my fangirl dreams come true for this press tour for months now hahah. I wanted to pay homage to Katniss, and this dress is so iconic, even though the meaning of the look isn’t lost on me.”
She continued, “What makes Katniss’s wedding dress so powerful to me is that it starts out as a costume meant to turn her into a spectacle, but she and Cinna turn it into something so powerful. It made me think of Maysilee’s refusal to let the Capitol take away her humanity: ‘If you let them treat you like an animal, they will.’ One of the things I love most The hunger gameIt’s the characters’ determination to maintain who they are even when others try to define them. It’s truly amazing how much deeper meaning and storytelling is told through these costumes alone. It was such an incredible evening celebrating the wardrobe from these films. I pinch myself again.

Grace also paid tribute to Rachel Zegler of The hunger games prequel Ballad of songbirds and snakesAmandla Stenberg’s street from the first hunger games film, and Jena Malone when she attended a screening of Catch fire in 2013.
