“Melania: The Series” is coming soon – and even stranger than you could imagine.
Four days after voters humiliated President Donald Trump, 80, first lady Melania, 56, is clamoring for attention, money or whatever she wants. Mélania: the series.
Amazon has released the trailer for the two-part docuseries, and it’s as confusing as everyone expected. The “series” follows the first lady’s feature-length documentary of the same name from January, which only managed to empty movie theaters across the country and gross a humiliating 9 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

The trailer for the documentary series features Melania as a sultry go-getter wearing black sunglasses across America. Jazzy action-noir music dominates clips of police sirens while the first lady sits aboard Air Force One with a 25-carat chip on her shoulder. Between shots of glamorous Melania at the White House and Melania Tarmac Airport, the trailer displays footage of various unspecified cities destroyed by what could be wildfires, floods, hurricanes, or something else.

Melania delivers vague sound bites throughout the trailer, uttering platitudes such as “America deserves the best” and “I’m a mother, a wife, and also a first lady.”
According to Amazon’s press release, “the series reveals never-before-seen stories, offering unprecedented insight into the life of Melania Trump, including the extraordinary days immediately following the 47th Presidential Inauguration.” »

The two episodes of the documentary series focus on different themes, the press release states. The first episode, “Family & Trust,” follows Melania as she sets her priorities “as she prepares to become First Lady of the United States.”

“But inside the White House, trust is tested, and the new First Lady must protect those closest to her while dealing with the demands of power,” the description reads.

The second episode is called “Pride & Honor” and focuses on Melanie as she “implements her mission for the American people.”
“The series takes the audience beyond what they have already seen, with content never before shared with the public,” he continues; in the trailer, a classy voiceover from an anonymous man says, “On November 20, experience new, never-before-seen moments.”

Sunglasses, again.
The press release adds that this release comes after “the historic success of MELANIA, The Film”.
This “historic success” could refer to the fact that Melania raked in $10.71 million from the film, although the film itself lost around $60 million. Melania’s profits sparked speculation that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was trying to curry favor with Trump. Members of Congress have even accused Amazon of corruption and a “pay-to-play deal with the Trump administration.”
But the trailer for the sequel is festive. In one frame, golden fireworks burst.
