Miranda Kerr is breaking her silence about not attending the recent Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The 43-year-old model revealed on the Nov. 3 episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast that although she was invited to walk in the Oct. 18 show, which marked her 20th anniversary with the brand, she turned down the opportunity because she was questioning herself.
Kerr, a former Victoria’s Secret Angel, last modeled for the lingerie brand’s show in 2012 and made her return to the runway in September after a nine-year hiatus.
“I was thinking about it very seriously. Obviously, I just walked Stella McCartney and had a great time. … My energy was like, wow, it feels good to be back on the runway. I love it,” Kerr told host Amanda Hirsch.

“When Victoria’s Secret asked me, I was like, ooh, this could be fun. I thought about all the fun memories and how fun it was, and how it would be so cool for me to come back on the runway and wink at them,” she continued.
At the Los Angeles show, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley returned to the stage after 16 years. The 39-year-old has two children with “Fast & Furious” franchise star Jason Statham.
Miranda Kerr worries that ‘everyone is in their underwear’
Although she enjoyed showcasing McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear collection during her surprise appearance on the Paris Fashion Week runway on September 30, Kerr described having a very different reaction when she was asked to put her Victoria’s Secret angel wings back on.
“I was really excited, and then I got a little anxious,” she said. “And then I was meditating, and I really wondered, how am I actually going to feel when I’m up there on the podium? Everyone’s in their underwear, I’m in my underwear; I’m 43, I have four boys. I have this knot in my stomach.”

The founder of skincare brand Kora Organics, who said she meditates for 20 minutes every morning, added: “Even though I tried to meditate and soothe it, it was still there. And the only way for me to fix it was to say, ‘OK, you’re not going to do the show. How do you feel now?'”
The result? “I felt the knot in my stomach release,” Kerr said. She continued, “That’s why I knew it was the right decision for me not to do it. Even though I wanted to, something in my gut (said no).”

She told Hirsch, “I also feel like that was then and now, and I’m at a different stage in my life,” later adding, “Fashion shows and Victoria’s Secret are two very different things.”
Her comments mirror a brief explanation she shared in an Oct. 17 Instagram post, which described how she “felt in my heart that it was right to cherish this chapter as it was.”
The Australian model made her Victoria’s Secret debut in 2006. Her last time at a fashion show was Moschino’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection in June 2017.
Her eldest child is Flynn Bloom, 15 – her son with ex-husband Orlando Bloom – born in January 2011. Two months later, she was back at work, making appearances at Victoria’s Secret promotional events and other industry parties.

In November of that year, she walked the Victoria’s Secret catwalk – much like Barbara Palvin, who this year walked the runway six weeks after giving birth, opening up debate about the message it sends to other people giving birth.
How Miranda Kerr’s Sons Reacted to Her Career at Victoria’s Secret
Kerr told Hirsch she still makes sure to tune in to the event, which is returning for a third year in its current form after taking a hiatus from 2018 to 2024 following public backlash and declining ratings.

She was playing ping pong and air hockey with her kids when the fashion show started streaming live, and she thought, “I want to watch the girls!”
Once she figured it out, her 8-year-old son asked her, “Mom, what is that?”
“I was like, uh, that’s what mom did,” Kerr recalls. She said her 7-year-old replied, “Mom, what do you mean, you were doing that?”
Kerr and her husband of nine years, Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, share three children: Hart Spiegel, born in May 2018; Myles Spiegel, born October 2019; and Pierre Spiegel, whose birth she announced in February 2024.
She admitted that she and Spiegel don’t keep any photos from her modeling career on the walls of their home, preferring to focus on snaps of their family.
