Tom Brady and Candice Swanepoel reportedly went to great lengths not to be seen together amid their whirlwind romance.
“They both live in Miami so it’s very convenient,” a source told People Sunday.
“They spend a lot of time together. Candice and Tom have been dating for months,” the source continued. “She was very secretive and selective about who she told about their relationship.”
“When they met, they tried very hard not to be spotted,” the source added.
A representative for Brady, 49, and Swanepoel, 38, were not immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The NFL alum and the Victoria’s Secret model’s whirlwind romance was revealed Saturday, after an insider told Us Weekly they had been together for “a while.”
Brady has been romantically involved with numerous models and celebrities since his 2022 divorce from Gisele Bündchen, including Irina Shayk and Brooks Nader.
He was also rumored to have had affairs with Kim Kardashian, Sofía Vergara, Alix Earl and Yael Cohen.
However, the retired athlete has been reluctant to detail his love life, as he continues to amicably co-parent his and Bündchen’s two children, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13. He also shares son Jack, 19, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
In January, Brady hinted he was too busy to focus on dating after being spotted with Earle, 25, on New Year’s Eve.
“You know what? I don’t have a lot of time for my personal life or a lot of time for myself, but I love working and I love my kids,” he told People at the time.
“I like to be busy and try to really thrive in the things that I do,” he continued. “So I’m working on some really cool projects and I’m involved in some awesome teams of people doing really positive things.”
As for Swanepoel, she is the mother of two sons, Anacã, 10, and Ariel, 8, with her ex-fiancé, Hermann Nicoli. The exes were together for over 10 years before splitting in 2018.
In 2023, the model spoke candidly about balancing work and raising children during an interview with V Magazine.
“Life is a constant search for balance, at least for me, and yes, I feel overwhelmed sometimes, but I’m very in tune with the needs of my children and then my personal needs, which are also important,” she said, explaining that she “realized” that she needed to “be a better mother.”
“I know that I also need to take care of myself, whether it’s my (physical) or mental health, or my ability to excel in my career and business because that brings me joy and so my children have started to understand that too,” Swanepoel continued.
