Apple is reportedly planning a major redesign of next year’s iPhone Pro models, timed for the iPhone’s 20th anniversary. The latest design leak reveals that the dream of a cutout-free display might remain a dream for now.
The new iPhone Pro screen would include holes for Dynamic Island and would not be without cutouts

Yesterday, Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station presented three new iPhone models coming in early 2027: the iPhone 18e, the iPhone 18 and the iPhone Air 2.
Its main focus was the iPhone 18, which is expected to get two Pro-inspired upgrades.
In a follow-up post, responding to another Weibo user’s question, the leaker addressed a key design question regarding next fall’s iPhone Pro models.
Apple is rumored to be working on a major redesign timed for the iPhone’s 20th anniversary. It will reportedly feature a curved quad display that surrounds the edges of the device for a visually bezel-less look.
Early rumors indicated that the device might also ditch the Dynamic Island for a truly all-glass display, with no cutouts.
But according to Digital Chat Station, that ultimately doesn’t happen.
After being asked if the “iPhone 20 Pro Max” would still have a Dynamic Island or a hole-free display, the leaker confirmed the display. there will still be holes. This way, it will retain the Dynamic Island cutout.
It’s unclear if the Dynamic Island will be the same size as the iPhone 18 Pro, but since the device is expected to have Face ID, it’s very likely.
