The NFL is expected to suspend Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson for two games because of a postgame punch Monday night. But ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the league has yet to notify the team and the NFLPA.
Jackson threw a right hook to Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb after the Rams’ 37-34 overtime loss.
Jackson will miss the games against the Cardinals and Raiders unless he appeals and wins.
ESPN cameras captured Jackson exchanging jerseys with Bills defensive lineman Deone Walker at midfield when Chubb appeared to say something to Jackson. Jackson hit Chubb in the face with his right hand before Rams tight end Colby Parkinson knocked Jackson away.
Chubb called it “just emotions” after the game.
Jackson started all five games this season and only missed one game last season.
