Nicole Kidman’s latest cover is personal. Posing for Vogue Australia, Kidman returned to her homeland for her twelfth cover photo shoot with the magazine.

On the cover, Kidman wore a dazzling Chanel bikini top, dripping with sparkling fringe and sequins. The plunging top featured a center tie and halter neck. She paired the megawatt bikini top with a swimsuit and a sparkling bracelet. Kneeling in the ocean on the beach, Kidman sported wet blonde waves and smoky, sultry makeup.

Elsewhere in the shoot, Kidman wore a number of other Chanel looks, including a silver tinsel-effect skirt and a playfully shimmery textured orange skirt suit, which she wore open over a bra.
In the accompanying interview, Kidman answered questions from a number of famous friends and colleagues.
Author Liane Moriarty asked him about his childhood memories with his parents in Australia. “We used to have these lovely beach vacations at Avoca, or this place called Barrington Tops,” Kidman remembers. “Those are some of my favorite memories. I would go back to those Christmas holidays in January when there was not a worry in the world. We had a fake tree and tinsel. I love the smell of summer and gardenias. In America, when I’m like, ‘Oh, the beach and the gardenias,’ they’re like, ‘What?’ Yeah! It’s Christmas for me! I would go back – my family and being a little girl. I would love to that. But I can recreate it now for my kids, and I can recreate it maybe for my grandkids Bring on the tinsel and the beach.
It’s no wonder this cover was, as Kidman put it on Instagram, a “coming home.”
“It’s still a feeling,” she said of coming home. “Like this shoot. I’m in the heat, it’s the sun, it’s the beach. How do I feel about all of this? It’s not just pretending. It’s actually being in it.”
